BURPEES FOR BOOBIES! Thanks to all the athletes who came out to support our first BURPEES FOR BOOBIES for the month of May.  The first event was held, Saturday, May 5 at ARMOR CROSSFIT in Ocoee. The concept is awesome.  Athletes collect pledges for the number of burpees they can do in two hours.  Several of the athletes at this first event did more than 500 burpees and raised a lot of money for COMPASSIONATE HANDS AND HEARTS.  Thanks everyone for making this first event a huge success! Our final BURPEES FOR BOOBIES event for the month of May 2012 was held at Cross Fit Country in Oviedo.  Thanks to all the athletes who gave it their all for the cause.  The high number of burpees for the day was 1001 in two hours.  The event raised money through pledges based on the number of burpees an athlete could do.  It was a very successful day.  Thanks to everyone who supported the day!  And special thanks to Wayne at CrossFit Country in Oviedo for hosting the event. We got quite a surprise from the US Drug Enforcement Administration.  The DEA offices in the Miami Division (which includes Orlando) held a fundraiser during Breast Cancer Awareness Month last October.  They decided to donate the proceeds from their t-shirt sales to COMPASSIONATE HANDS AND HEARTS BREAST CANCER OUTREACH and we were thrilled !  Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jeffrey Walsh and the team in Orlando invited founder Vanessa Echols to the offices for the check presentation.  We'll also be featured with them in their national magazine.  Thank you DEA ! THANK YOU LADIES OF HARLEY Our last PINK OCTOBER event for 2011, was a check presentation from the CLERMONT LADIES OF HARLEY.  These wonderful ladies and the HARLEY OWNERS GROUP held a motorcycle POKER RUN for us earlier this month, called RIDE FOR THE CURE.  They invited us to the monthly HOG meeting to present us with the proceeds from the event, a VERY generous donation.  We are truly overwhelmed by their generosity and appreciate this wonderful partnership.
